Certified Circularity

Scalable certification to verify and credibly communicate circularity with confidence

01 Product Certification

Fully digitalised third-party certification for credible communication

Products can be certified against the Circular Design Standard on the CDS platform following a digitalised and structured independent third-party certification process.

The CDS Platform provides guidance in developing circular products, enabling cross-functional teams of design, product and sustainability to make informed decisions.

Integrating the CDS standard and platform into your workflow enables lean, next-generation certification and direct communication with third-party certifying bodies. This reduces complexity and supports scalable, credible circular product development and certification.

The CDS Certification is designed to be economically viable for standard users and efficiently implementable at scale.

By enabling a fully digital verification process that seamlessly integrates with the brand‘s existing IT landscape, Digital Product Passports (DPP) and sustainability reporting systems, it significantly reduces manual effort and complexity, making the implementation practical, scalable and cost-efficient.

The independent certification system is completed through collaboration with established certification bodies to unlock synergies, accelerate industry progress and greater impact.
